Pause Automation

Set an active automation to paused.

Contacts already in the automation stay where they are and continue when it is activated again. Replacing the steps while it is paused can cancel contacts waiting in a delay step — see Update Automation. Any other status returns 409 AUTOMATION_NOT_ACTIVE.

Request

POST /automations/{uuid}/pause

This endpoint takes no request body.
